Valentines Day

Excellence

Nothing but exceptional, is the apartments! From the office managers ( Amanda, Shelbee) to the maintenance men ( both named Dave) and the caretaker (Connie)! Couldn’t ask for a better bunch of people! Love the snow removal , which has been quite frequent! The views are spectacular! Just a wonderful place!

So great with snow removal

Whatcha nice place to be as the staff does so many things for the residents! The snow is being taking care of by 2 David’s and conny decorating for the Holidays! Amanda and Shelby are so pleasant and kind! What a great place!! Very happy!

Staff excels!

A big "shout- out" to Dave and Dave for the outstanding job done with the snow removal this past week! It was so good, I'm afraid the Chateau might lose you to the City of Duluth Department of Public Works which didn't do the same quality job you guys did! Plowing at 9pm, still plowing at midnight, and when I got up at 5, your were back at it! You two, combined with the daily efforts of Amanda, Shelby and Connie, makes this a safe and comfortable place to call "home." Thank you all for your consistent efforts.

After six months . . .

After living here for six months, we're overdue in expressing how happy we are with our choice of Chateau du Lac! The entire staff goes out of their way to be of assistance! The snowplowing (and shoveling) this winter was outstanding! We enjoy how quiet the building is, the friendliness of the other folks, and the overall ambience of the locale. With Chateau du Lac we made a good decision after looking at several different options in our quest to "downsize" . . .

Exceptional snow removal

The snow removal here is excellent! The one that drives the snowplow is up and out so early! Thank you to the Dave that drives it and gets it ready for us to get to work in the early morning hours!

We really enjoy living at Les Chateaux.

From the first time that we contacted the office about living here we were treated with courtesy and understanding. Both Amanda and Shelby were very helpful in showing us different apartments, agreeing to our desire for changes and doing everything they could to make our rental plans a very pleasant experience. Connie did a super job of seeing that the apartment was exceptionally clean when we moved in. After we were here Dave also did a wonderful job of addressing our maintenance issues. Living here, to us is like living in a park like setting.

Great place to live

Spacious apartments!

Very nice and clean and spacious apartments! Was shown an apartment with Shelby. Office manager, Amanda, was very nice! I told her how clean everything looked and she said that someone named Connie was to thank for that. It’s was a David and a Dave ( apparently a tag team) that we’re running around fixing things and were painting. Such gentlemen! Beautiful scenery! Beautiful place to move to!

Great place to live

This has been a great place to live, its quiet, well taken care of and Shelby and Amanda are great managers. They reply quickly to needs and have a pulse on what in going on around the property to address issues promptly. I'd recommend to anyone that they choose the Chateaux apartments, especially the Du Lac building, I enjoy being on the lake the view are amazing!

Nice apartments!

Nice grounds and wonderful views! All of the workers seem very friendly! Amanda and shelbe were very helpful and took us on a tour. Nice lay outs and very clean. I was introduced to a Connie that was the cleaner and a Dave that took care of the maintenance. Everyone was so nice , even some residents! We were excited that it is a pet friendly place! Loved the patio!

LesChateauxDuluth is our home!

Our apartment is like walking into our own comfortable home. We are conveniently located and have one of the finest views of Lake Superior to be obtained. We love living at Les Chateaux. The management and maintenance personal are top notch. At our age, we have found that our bodies as well as our appliances need attention from time to time. Just this past week we had an issue with our kitchen faucet and the "maintenance guys", Dave and Dave, were here promptly. It took them no time at all to figure out the problem and quickly fix it. Gosh, it is so nice to have pleasant professional service. Thanks for hiring "Dave and Dave". They certainly represent your corporation well!

Review for Les Chateaux

We have found Les Chateaux to be a most satisfactory solution for home replacement. Our goal was to rent for one year to determine if we want to sell our home. We are not ready to sell, but when we do, our first choice for rental living is Les Chateaux. We had interior parking that was satisfactory except our Suv tailgate could hit overhead. Amenities are plentiful and we especially enjoyed the lake views, grounds and staff. Negatives: trash and recycle areas need monitoring/control, noise/time use of patio area and dog refuse on grounds. Our thanks to Amanda Williams and staff. Buzz and Pat Skomars. BIG improvements under Monarch!!

I've lived in the Chateaux apartments for over 20 years. I have never seen so many improvements as when Monarch Management took over a few years ago. My building, including my screen porch were painted last fall. We now have raised gardens for residents to grow vegetables. A lovely patio and grill were added down by the lake last summer. All of these additions have been appreciated, but what I most appreciate is the staff. Amanda is a good listener and very attentive to any needs I've had. A real effort has been made to make this feel like a community, by having concerts and cookouts by the lake so that we can meet other residents. The staff is available and very friendly. It really feels like a home now, thanks to Monarch. I would recommend The Chateaux to anyone looking for an apartment. (I only gave the parking 4 stars because the garage could be a bit brighter, but it's clean, heated and secure)

The Jewel of Duluth

This is the best place in Duluth to live. Beautiful surroundings, large and homey apartment, fantastic staff, and good neighbors. My only negative is the noise and rudeness of some of the residents using the patio. There should be space for each building, otherwise too many people come to the one and only patio and they are appropriate for the most part but there are always those who ruin the peace and enjoyment of the residents in the du lac building. Priceless views

So impressed with the layout of the apartments and such roominess ! The views of Lake Superior take your breath away! Office staff , shelbie and Amanda were so gracious and helpful!! Really took their time with me! I was told that the maintenance was someone, Dave, that seemed to be taking care of it all! The buildings looked and smelled so nice and clean, I think her name was Conny , but all in all , was pleasantly surprised with the whole package!

Just what we needed.

Les Chateaux is the perfect get away for us - St. Paul residents. The wonderful ever-changing lake is right outside our windows, so we can sit and look out with only the sound of wind in the trees and occasionally the whitecapped lake.

Wonderful living environment and facilities

My husband and have recently relocated to Duluth and have been very pleased with the premises and amenities at Les Chateaux. The environment is safe, quiet and friendly and we have access to everything we need readily and easily. The lakeside view, convenient laundry and covered parking are just a few of the amenities we have access to and enjoy. Amanda and Shelby have also been incredibly helpful, friendly and supportive in helping us get settled in. We could not ask for better!

living at the Chateaux

I have lived here at the Chateaux for several years. There have been many improvements with various owners. One gets a very spacious unit at a reasonable rent. It isn't the newest apartment complex but the large green spaces and many trees and the shore of the Lake make up for that. We have vegetable gardens and will soon have a fenced in dog park. The staff and most residents are friendly. I also like the events that are planned. M

Les Chateaux is the best place I have lived! Life at Les Chateau

We have lived at Les Chateau for three years now. The present owners and managers are trying hard to update the complex. Things are being done that have needed doing for a long time. The new patio/grill area is a great new addition and will be perfect for entertaining and getting to know our neighbors. My husband and I appreciate Monarch Inc. for their efforts to make our "home" better. The location is convenient and the view spectacular!!! The manager here tries hard to keep us all happy which is not easy in a complex like this with so many renters. All in all, we think we couldn't have found a better place to live in retirement.

Les Chateaux Apartment Manager

We just met with Amanda to sign our new lease. She was very gracious and explained all the options explicitly. We have had a couple of maintenance issues lately (blind replacements, fixing cupboard shelf,) and both issues were fixed promptly. We like living here for many reasons. The new owners (Monarch) and their management seem to be invested in keeping their renters happy. We are grateful!!!
